From  realization of creating Swaraj to very last breath of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj . In Mavalas serving Swaraj as per orders one name that needs to be memorized is - of the brave stoneman Yesaji Kank! In the work of swaraj the contribution they make is unmatched. He faced with courage and returned with victory to chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj himself.

An occasion to show how much faith we had in the power of our Mavals. We find it on pages or history. That is what is unfolding before you today.

       After Swaraj Rajyabhishek in 1676 Maharaj set on a campaign to conquer South. He had taken Qutb Shah to take care of Adilshahi. That is why Maharaj went to visit Qutb shah after visiting Bhaganagari the people and Qutb Shah welcome Shivaji Maharaj in big celebration.

After coronation in 1676 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj marched South. He ended Mughal empire he joined hands with Qutb Shah of Govalkonda. 

     Mughal imperial, Adalshahi, Nizamshahi of all such shahs. One who stands on his lap and created Swaraj .As the conscious king has come people crowded around Maharaj. Sornabat Hambirrao Mohite, Yesaji Kank etc were selected Mavals. All of them entered the palace. When Maharaj entered palace Qutb shah himself come forward and welcomed them. As soon as Maharaj took his place Qutb asked him question  Maha Rajaji, your army is very big but why there is no elephant in it? Seeing your army.

There is no such thing as dictator, we have fifty thousand elephant it means one soldier is equal to one elephant. If you don't believe, you can choose anyone . That man of army will rust with any elephant. Hearing this replay of Maharaj, Qutb became very upset but still couldn't believe it a man can hit an elephant so he decided to try the maharajhs Mawla.

        Qutb Shah see carefully each Mawla and pointed at Yesaji Kank. I wondered if this soldier would fight against elephant. Why did not Maharaj replay with great confidence. Even Indras Airavat will be forced to roll. Yesaji also shook his head as if he had promised Maharaj rest assured is yours victory.

           The elephant and Yesaji's fight was decided in courtyard behind the fort. A magnificent circular space was created for audience and dignitaries seating was created and finally that moment come.

        Yesaji blessed from Maharaj and he took sword in his hand and he went on his way . Qutb to his soilders warned and chained to back door. The tied elephant scremead and entered. The elephant had about 25 cubs to handle. "so think about strength of the elephant.....!"

      The soldiers free elephant from chains and that made elephant standing in front. I was more than happy to see Yesaji. Elephant run to Yesaji as expected. He jumped to left. The elephant cheated he was holding creature in his eyes and watching tremors. Elephant and man the battle between two will be won by elephant it was as if everyone was convinced. 

           Yesaji played elephant for sometime seeing that lvalasa man in front was not afraid of him the elephant was becoming more aggressive he trampled Yesaji with  all his might was trying but Yesaji playing with him like toy. Its been while come on........  he was playing and elephant was playing.

             The battle was in full swing run on limbs Yesaji jumped on left limb without letting go of elephant unable to stop, he continued the elephant was now chewing. The struggle continued for two and half hours with continuous running. At last elephant gasped and his aggression diminished. Yesaji waiting for this opportunity. This time he went ahead of himself. The elephant moved for a movement as soon as strong body was hit then after that elephant caught Yesaji in his trunk. Yesaji used all his strength to free himself from trunk of elephant and suddenly elephant was hit hard the sword struck the elephant's trunk directly.......!

   

        Qutb shah only had to left to put his fingers in mouth. All enthusiasm of elephant came down and would inflected by Yesaji was decisive wound in that battle because of tremendous wound. He slammed the dhoom straight out between elephant and man. This victory did not belong to man because not everyone can do such thing. It was was victory of a forced called Yesaji Kank, of their yawning courage.

              There was loud applause everywhere. An elephant was killed by stubbornness of qutb shah, but it was proved that one of the mawlas of the Maharaj is of elephant strength! 

Yesaji's named started ringing everywhere. Yesaji was also greeting everyone. Qutb shah give his necklace to Yesaji but Yesaji did not accept it. To complement us our King is Samarth. This power of mine was previous in eyes of our king offers as feet of kingdom. As soon as said that, his eyes widened Maharaj's gaze was received and his chest swelled with pride. Because in their eyes rather than loud applause Proud of you!.
